Dave Price
Dave Price is the Weather Anchor for NBC 4 New York. He can also be seen on occasion on TODAY, MSNBC, & NBC News NOW. Prior to joining NBC 4 New York, he co-anchored FOX 5’s Good Day New York and served as the Weather Anchor for CBS's The Early Show. He also regularly covered major weather events and provided feature stories for The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
In a career spanning almost three decades, Dave has had a first-person view of some of the most momentous events of our time. He was in New York City, on-air, as the first tragic moments of September 11th unfolded and he spent the night enduring Hurricane Katrina inside the Superdome in New Orleans with the people he was covering. He has reported from all over the globe and has journeyed to every state in the nation and to over 90 countries, including Afghanistan and Iraq. He has won five Emmy awards and a Gracie award for his work.
When Dave is not reporting, his involvement and volunteer efforts are wide-ranging. He serves on the Board of Directors for Let’s Win PC, a non-profit pancreatic cancer patient advocacy organization, as well as Stars for Stripes, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality celebrity entertainment to internationally deployed U.S. military forces. He also serves as advisor to Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization committed to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States.
