For this quiz, we are defining “high risk” as mutations in genes associated with a lifetime risk of breast cancer of >40% or ovarian cancer >5%, such as BRCA1, BRCA2 and PALB2. This quiz does not address the chance of having a mutation in a gene with a lower risk of these cancers, or the chance of having a mutation in a gene with a high risk of colon, uterine and other cancers such as those associated with Lynch syndrome.
